Delivery is a flat rate of $30 for Sydney CBD. Please give us a call for any special arrangements to be made if you live outside of this area.

Yes. Orders over $50 can be delivered. For orders under $50, store pick-up is required.

It depends on the cake. Fondant cakes can be left out of the fridge in a cool and dry area away from direct sunlight. Butter cakes require refrigeration and to be taken out 45 mins prior to serving. Dessert cakes require refrigeration and to be taken out 15 mins prior to serving.

No. Your cake must travel on the floor of the car, in the boot or held (no seat). We advise a maximum of 40 minutes transit time. Cakes are perishable and delicate goods and therefore need to be taken straight home.

Cut off time is 12 noon, 2 days prior to pick up or delivery. Last weekend orders should be placed before Thursday at noon.

There are no orders or deliveries available on Sunday and Monday. Orders must be in by noon on Thursday for a cake required on Saturday.

Our driver will call you 30 mins - 1 hour prior delivery. If no one is home upon delivery, your cake will be taken back to our store. We will then call you to make alternative arrangements.

Someone must be home to accept the cake delivery. If no one is home at the time of delivery the cake will be returned to the store. Delivery is between 9am - 4pm.

Sugar figurines (ornaments) may contain foam and wooden sticks to secure to the cake. Our cakes have a centre dowel for support, travelling and handling.

Fresh flowers, iced flowers may vary from original image viewed or provided. Sprinkles and other cake and dessert decorations may vary.

For online cake orders 7 days notice is required and you will be refunded 50% of the full payment amount. The cancellation must be provided via email to cakes@thecakestudio.com.au. To confirm cancellation you must receive a confirmation/response back from The Cake Studio.

For cancellations made within 48 hours no refund will be given.
